My style of yoga has its roots in Ashtanga vinyasa yoga enriched with fluid flows linking breath with movement. I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and completed my teacher training in Dublin, London and Bali.
My classes combine dynamic exercises and meditative aspects which are rich, balancing and therapeutic.
I take a unique approach to practice, that is both creative and strong while still being accessible for all levels of practitioners. My classes blend tradition with science, and offer an intelligent and relevant progression through functional movement, alignment and the flowing nature of a vinyasa practice.
I’m also interested in teaching a yoga that is useful both on and off the mat, so my practice is fused with the rich philosophies and narratives of numerous cultures and traditions. Curiosity and a sense of exploration are at the heart of my practice.
Yoga is not about a level, you are not a beginner/intermediate/advanced, it is about an experience – being part of a community breathing and moving together. It is a complete practice, strengthening the body and calming the mind, so you don’t need to do anything else. I believe in classes that are inclusive, welcoming different bodies, ages and genders, without judgement.
Whether you are seeking an energising and revitalising class or a restorative and soothing practice, I am dedicated in taking you into their body and allowing you to fully explore your own practice.
Together, we will explore a wide range of different classes and styles:
I facilitate 3-week and 6-week Introduction to Yoga courses regularly. Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner looking to refresh your skills, these courses offer something for everyone.
